New Puritan Ice Cream Flavor: Mint Condition
January 28, 2010
A new ice cream flavor has been added to the Puritan's palette. The flavor, dubbed Mint Condition, debuted this week. It is a peppermint flavored ice cream with miniature dark chocolate mint patties and white chocolate chips. The initial run of 25 gallons has almost sold out, but ice cream maker Chris Pappas says that more is one the way. "Usually only the die hard ice cream eaters come out in winter but this flavor has proved more popular than expected. We'll be churning out a fresh batch next week and plan to keep this flavor flowing through the summer," he said. The Puritan, making its own ice cream on premises since 1917, offers 47 flavors of ice cream plus many seasonal favorites.
